Take a look at the motorcycle on the picture above. This is "World's Tallest Rideable Motorcycle". It was constructed by Gregory Dunham of Stockton, California, USA. This rideable motorcycle is 3.429 m (11 ft 3 in) tall, 6.187 m (20 ft 4 in) long and weighs 2.948 tonnes (6,500 lb). It has two huge tyres that are 1.88 m (74 in) tall. Marathon des Sables of Morocco
The Marathon des Sables is a 6 day long 243 km (151 mile) marathon held every year in the the Sahara Desert in Morocco. This marathon race requires running on uneven rocky ground and over immense sand dunes of Sahara. It is considered to be the toughest foot race on planet Earth.
The first event of the Marathon des Sables started in 1986. The whole distance of this marathon, which is equivalent to 5 1/2 regular marathons, is covered in sections similar to 25, 34, 38, 82, 42, 22 km. Some participants requires 7 days to cover it.
During this race participants are required to carry everything including food, clothes, a medical kit, a sleeping bag, a rescue flare, an anti-venom pump, and other survival items. World's Highest Free-falling Waterfall
Take a look at the picture above. This is Angel Falls, the world's highest free-falling waterfall at 979 m (3,212 ft), with a clear drop of 807 m (2,468 ft). It is located in the Canaima National Park, in the Gran Sabana region of Bolivar State, Venezuela at 5°58′03″N, 62°32′08″W coordinates.
In the indigenous Pemon language Angel Falls is called Kerepakupai merú meaning "waterfall of the deepest place". The height of the Angel falls is so great that before getting anywhere near the ground, the water is buffeted by the strong winds and turned into mist. The base of the falls feeds into the Kerep river, which flows into the Churun River, a tributary of the Carrao River.
The waterfalls was named after an American aviator called James "Jimmie" Crawford Angel. It was first sighted by the Venezuelan explorer Ernesto Sanchez La Cruz in 1912. But he did not publicize his discovery. On 16 November 1933 Crawford Angel flew over the waterfalls on a flight while he was searching for a valuable ore bed. Then, on 9 October 1937, Angel tried to land his Flamingo monoplane "El Rio Caroni" atop Auyan-tepui but the plane was damaged. So, he and his three companions, including his wife Marie were forced to descend the tepui on foot, that took them 11 days. That's why in honor of him the waterfall was later named as "Angel Falls".
The official height of the falls was determined by a National Geographic Society survey carried out by American journalist Ruth Robertson in 1949.

Fat Rhesus Monkeys of Ohama park
The Rhesus Monkeys of Ohama park, Sakai, Osaka are on a weight loss diet program. Why? Because they have become overweight by eating extra food given by the visitors. Take a look at the images. So, the park has cut down on the amount of food being fed to the monkeys from 10 kg (22 lbs) per day to 2 kg (4.4 lbs). The coin made of 99.999% pure gold, weighs 100 kilograms and is worth about 2 million euro (U.S. $ 3.2 million). For your information, Canadian Gold Maple Leaf is the official bullion gold coin of Canada and is produced by the Royal Canadian Mint.
On May 3, 2007, the Royal Canadian Mint unveiled the first Gold Maple Leaf coin with a face value of One Million Dollars! It measures 50 cm in diameter by 3 cm thick and weighs 100 kilograms, with a purity of 99.999%. The artist of this big coin is Stanley Witten. The coin is mainly a promotional product to give the mint a higher international profile. The 100-kilogram coin was conceived as a one-off showpiece to promote the mint's new line of 99.999 per cent pure one ounce Gold Maple Leaf bullion coins but after several interested buyers came forward the mint announced it would manufacture them as ordered and sell them for between $2.5 million and $3 million. Presently, there are only five such coins in the World.

Finally the mysteries of the Stonehenge has been solved. Recent radiocarbon dating of cremated human remains from the Stonehenge site shows that Stonehenge was used as a cemetery at its inception around 3,000 BC until 2,500 BC. So, Stonehenge was an ancient burial site.
One of the most famous prehistoric sites in the world, Stonehenge is composed of earthworks surrounding a circular setting of large standing stones. It is located in the English county of Wiltshire, about 3.2 kilometres (2.0 mi) west of Amesbury and 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) north of Salisbury. In around 2,600 BC, 80 giant standing stones were arranged on Salisbury Plain, where there was already a 400-year-old stone circle. About two centuries later, even bigger stones were brought to the plain. Today, only 40 percent of the originals are there in Stonehenge and it has been announced as an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
New archaeological evidence found by the Stonehenge Riverside Archaeological Project, indicates that Stonehenge served as a burial ground from its earliest beginnings. And burials continued at Stonehenge for at least another 500 years when the giant stones which mark the landmark were put up.
"Stonehenge was a place of burial from its beginning to its zenith in the mid-third millennium BC," said Parker Pearson, who with support of the National Geographic Society leads the Stonehenge Riverside Archaeological Project.
Till now, archeologists believed that people had been buried at Stonehenge only between 2,700 and 2,600 BC, before its large stones, known as sarsens, were put in place. But a small pile of burned bones and teeth from one of the pits around Stonehenge's edge known as the Aubrey Holes dates to 3,030-2,880 BC, the study found. A second burial of an adult, from the ditch surrounding Stonehenge, dates to 2,930-2,870 BC. The most recent cremation, of a 25-year-old woman in the ditch's northern side, dates to 2,570-2,340 BC, around the time the first arrangements of sarsen stones appeared at Stonehenge.
